Hot Folders

Do you print the same type of document on a regular basis? Save yourself the hassle of adjusting your print settings each time. Hot Folders allows you to create a custom setting that triggers a workflow when a document is placed into the folder. Once a file is moved to that Hot Folder, the printer works its magic.

How to Use:

1. Drop the document you would like printed into the hot folder on your computer
2. The printer does its job with your saved print settings
3. Pick up the document from the tray

It’s really that simple. There are a few nuances, such as, when you place a password-protected file into the folder, an error will occur. It will also create a separate job for each file that is placed in the folder.

Smart Scan

Fast, quiet, and easy-to-use. There are many printer models available now that make scanning easier than ever. For example, the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX models support businesses as they transform analog documents into digital data. They offer market-leading scan speeds of up to 270ppm (pages per minute) and up to 30% noise reduction compared to previous models.

Add Watermark

You can also change the location of the stamped page number in settings during print setup on the machine. It is important to note that you can not typically use the bypass tray for this function.
